Board of County Commissioners Meeting & Drainage Board Meeting -May 6,2025
The meeting was called to order at 9:32 AM. All commissioners were present and the
Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
John from the Engineers office requested approval of notice to bidders for the
Replacement of Broadway Avenue bridge. Bids must be submitted to the Board of
Commissioners office by 9:30 AM on June 3. Request was approved unanimously.
A request was made for a $600 increase for final payment of $2900 for the drainage
improvement for North Woods. Unanimously approved.
Blankenberger Construction requested 24 more days to complete project related to
Boonville New Harmony Road Reconstruction due to inclement weather and utility
relocation. Request was unanimously approved. There was discussion regarding the
completion of the project. It is now estimated it will be completed by the end of the year.
A request was made to amend the Green River Road Trail contract to include employee
classification and pay increases. Unanimously approved.
Unanimous approval was given to purchase paper from Alstadt Business forms which is
the same price as the past two years.
Approval of Burdette Park resurfacing the campground and playground area due to
flooding. The cost is estimated at $16,440, which was unanimously approved.
Unanimous approval was given to revise the Alpha Laser and Imaging Lease
agreement to correct an error in the agreement previously signed on March 18.
A report was given by the department head of Weights and Measures. Very complex
work being undertaken to ensure accuracy for buyers and sellers.
There was no new or old business . All consent items were approved.
